Modul™ Press Technology

The revolutionary Modul™ tablet press from Courtoy has an Exchangeable Compression Module (ECM), allowing full product change-over in less than 1 hour.

All product contact parts are included in this ECM which can be looked upon as an isolator inside the press. This ECM can be disconnected and removed in minutes without any containment of the press or the clean room. The ECM realizes the idea of fast product changeover initiated - but never attained - by the removable turret principle.

The ECM type is determined by the tooling type, the Operator Exposure Limit or the required way of ECM cleaning. The press itself is only the drive for the ECM.

Peripheral equipment using the same philosophy is available from various suppliers.
