Main Benefits

• The system is designed for maximum flexibility and ease in early R&D work:
  • Batch sizes starting from 500 g
  • less then 10 g of product in process
  • optional fluid bed dryer segment to determine dryer parameters (batch
  • sizes between 500 g and 1,5 kg)
• Direct transfer of the granulation parameters to production ConsiGma™-25, as the granulator has the same design: NO SCALE-UP
• As the retention time of the product in the system is minimal, a change in parameters is almost immediately visible in the product. This allows very fast and easy R&D and Formulation Development
• The operator interface is made very user-friendly, with touch-screen technology and logical user graphics. Optionally, wifi connection for data transfer to historian is possible.
• ConsiGma™-1 is designed for easy deployment. It will fit into the most compact of laboratories and can be transported easily to wherever it's needed. The installation of the ConsiGma™-1 only requires electricity and standard utilities such as water and compressed air. The system is conceived to be a "Plug-and-Play" installation.
• To enhance the R&D flexibility even further, the ConsiGma™-1 can also be delivered in an execution suitable for hot melt granulation.

Test Opportunities

The ConsiGma™ technology can be tested at the GEA Pharma Systems Process Development Center in Wommelgem.

Apart from the lab-scale equipment, the PDC also allows testing of the full production scale ConsiGma™ granulation and drying system, including tabletting.
