More than 11,500 representatives from wineries, vineyards, academic institutions, and corporate R & D centers from the United States, Australia, France, Canada, and other countries are expected to attend the 2011 Unified Wine & Grape Symposium. The Unified Wine & Grape Symposium program features sessions and a two-day trade show.

GEA Process Engineering will exhibit on booth number 2219 and the following GEA Process Engineering business groups will be represented:

• GEA Filtration - membrane filtration systems as well as replacement membranes and service
• GEA Procomac - aseptic PET bottle filling lines
• GEA Brewery Systems - complete fermentation systems
• GEA Liquid Processing - GEA Liquid Processing integrates the unit operations (like pasteurizers, deaeration systems, mixing and blending systems, and CIP systems) from the different GEA companies and serve as a project management groups of large turnkey projects. Our process automation department uses commercially available PLCs, computers and system software... allowing our customers to establish an open standard for the entire plant.
• GEA Evaporation and Crystallization - evaporators, crystallizers, rectification and distillation plants.

Since the American Society for Enology and Viticulture and the California Association of Winegrape Growers joined forces to create the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium in 1995, it has become the largest wine and grape conference in the nation.

By combining a trade show with a broad spectrum of sessions, the Unified Symposium provides attendees direct access to all the latest information. The Unified Symposium also provides an excellent forum for active networking between registrants and suppliers.
