  • Lowest production cost per tablet.
  • Only the ECM needs to be cleaned, no more cleaning of the press or the room
  • Closed ECM always provides high Operator and Product Safety
  • Real "Through the Wall Solution" available - effectively separating the contained press from standard peripheral equipment.
  • Easy press maintenance.
  • Manuals, drawings and SOP's integrated in the OIP

GEA Niro MOBILE MINOR™ Spray Dryer with drying chamber extension

The latest MOBILE MINOR™ version has been introduced to meet the still increasing demand for a more flexible, modern and easy-to-handle laboratory dryer having different levels of control systems. Spray drying is a unique drying process involving both particle formation and drying. The powder characteristics can be controlled and powder properties maintained constant throughout a continuous operation. The selection and operation of the atomizer is of extreme importance in achieving an optimum operation and production of top-quality powders. In the MOBILE MINOR™, small quantities of solutions, suspensions, and emulsions can be dried into representative powder samples. Test results from the MOBILE MINOR™ provide important information for selecting the design and technical specification of a given drying project.

Buck® High Containment Materials Handling

Containment Experts - GEA Pharma Systems not only offers the largest variety of hardware solutions for contained materials handling, but also unrivalled experience in identifying the most appropriate solution, based on a containment risk analysis. Numerous Buck® containment interfaces/valves will be on display as well as the popular disposable Hicoflex® containment system.

Process Analytical Technology (PAT)

After assisting multiple tests with various customers and suppliers of optical measurement techniques in its labs, GEA Pharma Systems has recognized this and developed the Lighthouse Probe™ (patent pending) - a robust and reliable probe with in-line calibration and cleaning capabilities. The Lighthouse Probe™ is the only probe on the market that can clean its observation window online.

GEA Niro Soavi PandaPLUS

The PandaPLUS - the homogenizer for every research and development laboratory. Homogenization technology uses efficient high pressure energy to break particles present in fluids to the smallest possible size, down to nanometer range. This process creates a stable emulsion or dispersion by forcing the product through a specifically engineered homogenizing valve under high density fluid-dynamic energy conditions thus improving product shelf life and performance. The PandaPLUS is the best fit for numerous applications including: pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetic, and fine chemicals, because it is directly scalable from laboratory through pilot scale to industrial production. The PandaPLUS can operate at any pressure up to 2000 bar (30,000 psi) and the maximum flow rate (at low pressure) is 9 l/h. The smallest recommended sample quantity is 15 ml.
