GEA at 2009 Process Expo / Pack Expo

GEA will be exhibiting at the 2009 Process Expo / Pack Expo / CPP Expo which will take place at Las Vegas Convention Center from October 5 to 7, 2009. The GEA Group companies will exhibit on booth number S-6532. The 2009 Process Expo / Pack Expo / CPP Expo is expected to attract 25,000 customers/buyers including over 2,000 international visitors from 75 countries.

The following GEA Group companies will be sharing the combined booth: GEA Tuchenhagen, GEA Niro Soavi and GEA Process Engineering. GEA Process Engineering will feature several business groups including:

GEA Avapac

In 2008 Avalon Engineering - manufacturers of GEA Avapac bag filling systems changed its name to GEA Avapac to clearly identify with the manufacturer, the group to which we belong and the brand that we promote.

GEA Avapac have been in business for over 30 years manufacturing high quality 55lb bag filling equipment for the Dairy, Food Ingredient, Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries. The GEA Avapac range includes solutions from manual packing at up to 3TPH through to fully automatic systems at up to 20TPH using well proven bag handling technology. GEA Avapac's latest Li (Limited intervention) range is now available to customers in the US to provide the ultimate in safe and reliable bag filling and handling for not only Food and Dairy products but also for products that customers need to ensure total hygiene and safety for their operations.

GEA Procomac

GEA Procomac's core business is designing, manufacturing and installing complete aseptic filling lines for juices, teas, isotonics, soft drinks, dairy products and complete traditional filling lines for water, and carbonated soft drinks. At Process Expo / Pack Expo / CPP Expo the main focus will be on aseptic filling systems for low acid shelf-stable products. GEA Procomac is the worldwide leader with more than 85 installed aseptic filling lines. GEA Procomac is perceived to be the most reliable supplier of aseptic filling systems with an exceptional high rate of repeat customers.

GEA Filtration

GEA Filtration is a world leader in membrane filtration technology. Our plants are used to meet special liquid separation requirements by utilizing microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, or reverse osmosis. The simplicity and effectiveness of our technology allows membrane filtration to be utilized in many different industries for the production of specific products, and in environmental applications.

GEA Liquid Processing

We are process integrators. GEA Liquid Processing supplies engineering services and complete process plants and machinery to the pharmaceuticals, biotech, and personal care products industries as well as the brewing, beverage, dairy and food industries. GEA Liquid Processing competencies range from quotations/pre-engineering, design and planning, CAD, automation, installation, test/commissioning, qualification, documentation, components and spare parts, to after sales service. The Three Events

PROCESS EXPO will focus on the newest developments in processing technology to meet the challenges faced by the industry's food and beverage manufacturers. PROCESS EXPO exhibitors will demonstrate state-of-the-art equipment in the fruit and vegetable, beverage, food safety and sanitation, confectionery, bakery, prepared foods, meat, dairy and snack food industries. Visitors will come to see and purchase the latest in food processing equipment, air and liquid handling, engineering/architectural design services, cooling/freezing and instrumentation/controls. PROCESS EXPO is sponsored and produced by Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA).

PACK EXPO 2009 will focus on the latest developments in packaging technology and will showcase exhibitors' state-of-the-art advances in packaging machinery, converting machinery, materials, packages and containers, and components. Exhibitors will bring their top technicians and engineers to provide packaging solutions to even the toughest packaging challenges. PACK EXPO exhibits will be located in Central Hall, and on Upper and Lower Levels of South Hall.

Converting & Packaging Printing (CPP) EXPO will also be co-located, with exhibits on Lower Level South Hall. Reflecting the new market synergies of the package printing, converting, finishing machinery and supplies industries, CPP EXPO showcases the latest in printing, coating, slitting and other state-of-the-art finishing processes. Over 2,800 converting professionals and nearly 250 exhibiting companies attended CPP EXPO in 2007 in search of equipment, materials and services for streamlining operations and improving quality.
