Hudson, WI- Niro has appointed Statco Engineering & Fabricators as distributor of the complete range of Niro Soavi high-pressure pumps, homogenizers, and microsizers on the entire West Coast and the Mid South.

Established in 1947 and with more than 400 machines installed in North America and 4000 worldwide, Niro Soavi is today the technology leader in high pressure pumping, homogenization, and micronization.

In North America, Niro Soavi is a division of Niro Inc. - a leading supplier of process equipment and process solutions to the food, dairy, beverage, chemical, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Statco is more than just a distributor - Statco is a full service provider to the sanitary process industries with in-house skid fabrication capabilities, field service and installation teams, automation and process integration engineering and spare parts inventory. Statco has facilities at the following locations.

  • Redmond, Washington
  • Stockton, California
  • Huntington Beach, California
  • Plano, Texas
  • Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Lancaster, Pennsylvania

It is therefore not without reason that top component suppliers like Fristam Pumps, Sudmo and Tri-Clover and many others have chosen Statco as a key distribution channel.

"We see Statco as a new strong pillar in our US structure. As Statco is already a successful and well-established corporation with a substantial customer base on the West Coast and Mid South, we could not have found a stronger partner for this region. Statco's ability to provide quick and qualified service of our machines is exactly the type of distributor that we have been looking for", said Niels E. Olsen, Niro Soavi Division Manager, Niro Inc.

"Backed by GEA Niro Soavi's strong technical support and application experts in Hudson, WI and by their well consolidated customer base we are happy to become part of this successful and rapidly expanding organization," said Jim Statham, President, Statco.

GEA Niro Soavi has the most comprehensive and versatile range of high-pressure pumps and homogenizers, also known as the "Energy Series", which consists of 19 production models and 5 laboratory and pilot units. The 19 production models are available in high-flow low-pressure versions for the dairy, food and beverage industries as well as in high-pressure low flow versions required more often than not by the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Additionally, the successful and high-efficient homogenizing valve, NanoValve™, supports all low-pressure homogenizers supplied to the low-pressure dairy and beverage industries. It is even available as a retrofit kit for homogenizers of other brands.
