The Model U pilot plant is a flexible unit to perform pilot studies on the full range of membrane filtration technologies (MF, UF, NFand RO) under a wide range of operating conditions.

The pilot plant's standard configuration allows for testing with spiral polymeric membranes. It can also be equipped with other membrane configurations including ceramic and tubular.

Specially designed for continuous or semi-automatic mode to simulate a multi-stage production plant.

GEA Filtration custom designs cross-flow membrane filtration systems that best utilize the technologies of microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, or reverse osmosis for each customer's specific application. GEA Filtration employs stainless steel membranes, ceramic membranes, and polymeric membranes in the filtration systems. GEA Filtration is a world leader in the design, engineering, production, installation, support, and testing of large filtration systems for the dairy, food, beverage, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for wastewater applications across the process industries. Replacement membranes are also available.
