With the increasing number of high potent drug substances, the demand for contained processing steadily increases, also for "simple" operations such as mixing and granulation. As innovative answer to these new challenges, Collette has introduced the UltimaGral™ range.

The UltimaGral™ concept is based on the proven granulation technology of the GRAL, but offers many new and advanced benefits for processing high-potent drug substances. Its design has been totally optimized to enhance the cleaning of the equipment and allow for a full CIP (Cleaning In Place).

For loading and discharging of the UltimaGral™, Buck split butterfly valves on the product feed and discharge valve ensure high containment of the product. If still higher levels of containment are required, the UltimaGral™ can even be equipped with isolator technology.

Finally, as part of the GEA Pharma Systems Group, Collette is able to integrate the UltimaGral™ in a fully contained way in a turnkey project for an oral solid dosage line. In short, theUltimaGral™ is the most advanced solution available for contained high shear mixing and granulation.
