Fred Shaw New Vice President of Niro Inc.

Fred V. Shaw, Vice President Chemical Division, Niro.

Columbia, MD–Steven M. Kaplan, President of Niro Inc., announced the promotion of Fred V. Shaw to Vice President. Shaw has most recently served as Niro's Chemical Division Manager. He will maintain responsibility for the Chemical Division as well as serving as a Niro officer.

In announcing the promotion, Kaplan said, "Fred Shaw's skills in management, marketing, and engineering have been a large part of the recent successful operation of the Chemical Division. His experience and talents will make him a valuable addition to the Niro executive team."

Shaw has been with Niro for 20 years, serving the company in several different capacities. Prior to that, he worked for Badger Engineers and W.R. Grace & Co. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Detroit and an MBA from Loyola College of Maryland.

Niro Inc. is an international company specializing in the manufacture of equipment for the production of materials in powder, granulate, agglomerate, or tablet form. Niro products include spray dryers and coolers, flash dryers, continuous and batch fluid bed processors, and rotary presses.
