New CIP Baghouse Facilitates Product Changes

Hudson, WI-Niro Inc. announced the development of a unique new tool for the collection of powdered products in the food and dairy industries. Niro's new Clean-in-Place Baghouse design incorporates a novel CIP solution manifold and bag design that allows cleaning in place without removing the bag.

The new design gives the user the ability to dry and collect different products in a single baghouse. The entire system can be cleaned between product changes without changing the bags, affording a substantial time savings and increased efficiency during production changes. The system eliminates cross-contamination of products while still efficiently collecting powdered products from drying air. In many cases, the new design eliminates the need for cyclone collectors.
