Columbia, MD - GEA Evaporation Technologies announces the appointment of Eric Bryars as President of the company. He will be located at the company headquarters in Columbia, Maryland. Mr. Bryars has worked for GEA Niro for the past 15 years, serving Niro Inc. in the U.S. and then in Singapore. His most recent assignment was as managing director for Niro's operations in Southeast Asia and China. Under his tenure in Singapore, Niro established itself as the market leader in Asia for spray drying technology. He has a B.S. degree from Ohio University, and M.S. degree from The University of Cincinnati. He is a registered Professional Engineer. GEA Evaporation Technologies supplies evaporation, distillation, rectification, and crystallization process technology and systems to the North American market. The company has expertise in the design, engineering, fabrication, and testing of systems for the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, dairy, and beverage industries, as well as environmental applications.
