Syrups and suspensions

Syrup and suspensions are not always manufactured under sterile conditions, as syrup and suspension products are considered to be semi-sterile preparations. Despite this, very strict standards apply to these process plants in order to minimize the germ and bacterial count in the final products. Every detail of the design and manufacturing has to meet the high quality requirements and must include validation manuals and strict operator training in order to eliminate the risk of production errors.

All GEA Liquid Processing systems fully are compliant to cGMP requirements, and meet or exceed ASME-BPE, US FDA's Process Analytical Technology (PAT), and ASTM E55 guidelines.
