GEA Liquid Processing

GEA Liquid Processing is a new business group dedicated to supplying process integration services and liquid processing solutions. The formation of GEA Liquid Processing is part of GEA's global plan to strengthen the group's liquid processing capabilities. The foundation for this objective is to have dedicated liquid processing companies to integrate the unit operations from the different GEA companies and to serve as a project management groups of large turnkey projects.

Due to the internal structure of Niro Inc. and the prevailing industry standard it has been decided that three separate groups are necessary in the US to best handle dissimilar industry needs and requirements. Therefore, Niro Inc. has sub-divided GEA Liquid Processing into three separate business groups:

• GEA Liquid Processing - Hudson, WI: Will handle all food, dairy, and beverage activities and projects conforming to 3A, USDA, and EHEDG
• Huppmann Brewery Systems - Hudson, WI: Will handle brewery equipment and brewery process technology - in compliance to the relevant codes and standards
• GEA Liquid Processing - Columbia, MD: Will handle all pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications or in other words - projects adhering to cGMP, GAMP, CFR 21 Part 11, ISA S-88, PAT, and other FDA regulatory requirements
