High-pressure homogenizers

Niro Soavi offers a full range of equipment sizes, from tabletop laboratory size handling 2.64 gal/hr (10 liters/hr) to full-scale production units that can process up to 220 gpm (50,000 l/h). Pressures up to 21,750 psi (1500 bar) produce particle sizes down to 0.1 micron level.

Homogenization systems may be produced as customized, skid-mounted complete process packages, including feed pumps, control systems, heating and cooling of feed and product, and all other components. The equipment is easily adaptable to cleaning in place and sterilization.

Niro Soavi homogenizer valves carry out the required degree of micronization and dispersion at the lowest possible pressure. A range of valves is available to meet the varying properties of the fluids handled. Niro Soavi homogenizers are also equipped with automated control systems and safety devices, with the degree of automation required by the associated process. This can be a simple automatic control of capacity and pressure, or more complex microprocessor systems that control not only the homogenizer, but also other equipment in the process train.

Niro Soavi homogenizers, pumps and other equipment are known for quality, durability, and easy maintenance. All parts of our homogenizers are fabricated in our own workshop, so quality control is carried out under controlled conditions.

Testing

All homogenizers and pumps are tested at maximum capacity and pressure prior to delivery. We monitor performance throughout the entire testing period, and delivery is only approved after testing and inspection have shown the machine to be in perfect operating condition.
