Legislation is becoming increasingly tight as regards recycling solvents back into the production process. Consequently, plants for the recovery and cleaning of solvents are continually gaining in importance.

In addition, chlorinated and fluorinated hydrocarbons are being replaced by other materials which are less harmful to the environment. The substituted materials usually have different boiling and separation characteristics, which require an extension or even the completely new design of existing pretreatment plants.

Areas of Application:
  • recovery of trichloroethylene from effluents containing latex.
  • ammonia stripping and rectification from liquid manure
  • propene carbonate (CFC-substitute) in the manufacture of printed circuits
  • recovery of ethanol / acetone from manufacturing effluent
