The AAPS Workshop on Advances and Opportunities in Drug Product Manufacturing will take place at Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel, Baltimore MD on September 20 and 21, 2010. At this event GEA Pharma Systems will introduce the Collette table top continuous granulator.

The FDA recognises the value of continuous manufacturing and is working to raise the level of awareness of this technology amongst its review staff. As one initiative the 1st CONTINUOUS MANUFACTURING ONE DAY SYMPOSIUM was held, exclusively for FDA personnel, on March 11 2010 in Bethesda, MD.

GEA Brewery Systems is a globally unique competence centre for brewery equipment. At the 2010 Craft Brewers Conference and BrewExpo America® we will introduce our new line of Huppmann craft brewhouses - the COMPACT-STAR™. The COMPACT-STAR™ line will be offered in capacities ranging from 30 to 75 bbl/brew and it is designed for a step by step expansion.

The Aeromatic-Fielder™ FlexStream™ Fluid Bed is a new Multi-Purpose Processor from GEA Pharma Systems that uses proven fluid bed technology to achieve granulation, drying and pellet coating (or tablet coating) in ONE processor.

GEA Process Engineering Inc. has extended its expertise in thermal separation technology to concentrating waste waters, and effluents, leaving food and dairy processing facilities. The two main evaporator concepts we use when working with effluents are falling film evaporators, and forced circulation evaporators.

The Thermodynamic Lyophilization Control has been developed as an integrated part of the complete automation infrastructure for monitoring the primary (main) drying (lyophilization), determining the end of the main drying, monitoring the secondary drying, and determining the end of the secondary drying.
